Princess Grace was the epitome of taste so for a trip to Monaco in colder months, I don't think you can go wrong with a classic camel coat. I actually stole this one from my grandmother who happens to have excellent taste having grown up of course in the same classically beautiful era.
I am of the opinion that everyone should have a camel coat in their wardrobes as well as a traditional long overcoat. This one covers both fronts and to make matters better, I didn't have to constantly worry about pulling my incredibly short skirt down in the back every five minutes. Thank you Banana Republic! It should really be an investment piece because it seems to never go out of fashion. I would choose a classic cut like this one and a high quality material (this one is wool) so that it lasts forever! Although we are heading into summer, from personal experience in London and other places, I know it is not always warm enough to forgo a coat or jacket. Unlike with black coats, camel is a great colour all year round.
I am also a total pushover for anything embroidered - tops, jackets, jeans, skirts, bags, shoes - so this skirt is a personal favourite.
